No partner needed, no strict dress codes, and no gendered rules. Just great music, expert guidance, and a welcoming room full of people ready to dance.
WHO WE ARE
I’m Izzi, founder of Foxtrot Oscar - a London dance community created in 2023 to make Ballroom and Latin dancing more welcoming, inclusive and fun for everyone.
After one too many uncomfortable experiences at dance events, I decided to re-write the rules: creating classes where people could enjoy great music, learn new skills and meet fellow dancers without the pressure. At Foxtrot Oscar, there’s no awkward waiting on the side-lines, outdated expectations or unwanted attention - just friendly, respectful dancing in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Whether you’re a complete beginner, returning to dance or already have experience, everyone is welcome. I’m particularly passionate about creating a space where young women and people from marginalised communities can feel confident, comfortable and free to enjoy themselves.
I’ve competed in dance since the age of six, including at Blackpool, the world-famous home of ballroom dancing. Now, I’m sharing that experience through fun, accessible classes that help everyone discover the joy of Ballroom and Latin dance.

Mother & Baby classes
Want to do something good for your physical, emotional and mental health during your maternity leave? Join a friendly group of new parents to learn a new skill, exercise gently and bond with your baby. Bookable by terms at a discount, or drop-in on the day.
wedding dances & HEN parties
Whether you want a full-out extravaganza of a routine for your big day, or just a very easy, simple Waltz. Foxtrot Oscar is a fun, friendly and judgement-free space to learn.
We also offer bespoke workshops for pre-wedding celebrations such as hen dos for a great time at a great value.
INDIVIDUAL LESSONS
Not ready to dance in front of other people yet? Grab a cheeky head start and start off with a 1:1 lesson where you have your dance instructor’s full attention. A great way to calm your nerves before joining a group class or for those who want a routine choreographed especially for them.
